Do you use body cream?  Do you like to make your own?

Not too long ago, I used to buy my body lotion, facial lotion, and baby lotion from the store. After switching to natural products and start making my own soap, I decided to make my own and kids skin care products as well. I noticed many homemade body butters are whipped. I am not a big fan of beating air into my quality oils. Oils, air, and light are not good together. Oils oxidize when exposed to light and air for an extended period of time. That’s why cooking oil for example is not supposed to be stored uncovered or in clear bottle. Therefore, while would I beat air into my oils just to make it fluffy?
My approach is to gently melt the oils if solid in a glass jar put in a hot water. This allows easy incorporation of other oils or essentials oils. Otherwise, there is no need to even melt it.
