After 48 hours you are ready for the next step to point your domain to Bluehost.
Go back to Bluehost.
- Login to bluehost.com
- On the left side bar click on “Domains”
- Under it click on “Assign”
- Step 1
- Under “Use a domain that is not already associated—”
- Enter the new domain name. For instance, I entered: liberlabel.com
- That would verify it. Wait for few seconds.
- Repeat part 1 to 7 above
- As an example when I entered: liberlabel.com like on part 7 above
- It verified the domain
- Go to step 2 below step1 on Bluehost page
- After the domain is verified, step 2 showed this: “Ownership verified. The nameservers for the domain “liberlabel.com” are currently set to NS1.BLUEHOST.COM, NS2.BLUEHOST.COM.”
- That would show that the domain has been verified.
- Go to Step 3
- Make sure “Add on Domain” is selected otherwise, check the box next to it.
- Scroll down to Step 4: Create a new Directory
- You want to see public_html/ liberlabel
- Subdomain: liberlabel.ninasoap.com
- Click on “Assign my Domain
- Wait few seconds to make sure it has been assigned. You won’t find the page processing. Therefore, do not keep clicking on the “Assign Domain” button.
- Click on Domain in the left side bar
- Scroll through your domains to see if you would find the one you just assigned. If you found it listed as addon, the process is successful. Now you are ready to create your website as described below.
