If you are struggling to publish at least one YouTube video a week, acknowledge the cause of the struggle by pinpointing the area of the content creation that is slowing your process down and implement a strategy to simplify your process to see the impact on the goal you are trying to achieve.
There are different steps that come into play when uploading a video on YouTube.
Once you acknowledge the problems, brainstorm on how to simplify your systems to help you over come the challenges that prevent you from publishing the number of videos you want to publish a week.
For instance, I am not consistent at uploading at least one video a week as I planned this year.
As we analyzed the challenges we are facing, we noticed I don’t have problem recording videos.
The issue is the other steps we accomplish before we publish a video including:
Creating b-rolls
Editing video
Writing the blog article related to the video that will go on our website.
Creating thumbnails.
Converting and resizing images for the blog website.
Creating pins.
After we analyzed the different things, we do to publish a video, I decided to simplify the process in order to upload a second video a week.
Steps to create and publish a second content/week
Pick 1 topic from your content categories.
1 question 1 answer.
Simplify editing: Don’t delete. Add. (Plan to remove sensitive information only and add B-rolls instead to support your point of view.)
Create thumbnail template.
Write 300 words article or less.
