First, we purchased our domain from Google and we pointed to Bluehost. Then we assigned our new domain to Bluehost as Addon Domain. In this section we would create a new website for our domain using WordPress platform.
How to create WordPress Site
- Login to bluehost.com
- Left side bar: click on My sites”
- Click on Create a site
- You would have the choice between WordPress platform and Bluehost builder
- Click on Use WordPress
- Site name: Type your site name. liberlabel.com
OR liberlabel
- I entered liberlabel in our case
- Site tagline:
- I didn’t enter any. If you draft a tagline, you could enter it here otherwise you could add it later when you build your website.
- Click on Next
- You would see your primary domain (example: ninasoap) with arrow to scroll down
- Select the new domain name
- I chose liberlabel.com
- Next
- You should see a congratulation note stating you created your website.
- You created WordPress website. You are ready to build your WordPress website for your business.
- Make sure you click on the eye icon to see your password and copy to paste or write it down.
Click Login into WordPress.
