How to send your address to suppliers on Alibaba.com?
After you placed your order with a supplier on Alibaba.com, use a Word document to write your address and send it to the supplier.
Specify how to write it on the box.
You could even create a shipping label for the supplier to print cut and tape.
create it in Word and save as PDF.
Attach it to Alibaba message to your supplier by clicking on paper clip icon on Alibaba.com below the message box.
After you placed the order from a supplier on Alibaba.com, it is a good idea to pay the supplier through Alibaba.
Alibaba would charge a transaction fee. It might be easier to choose to pay by credit card.
On the payment page of Alibaba.com, click on product details and download to save for your own record.
Click on shipping detail as well.
Download your order detail and save it.
If you are a business, look at supplies you consume in your business. Look at your raw materials. Look at equipment you use. Where are they made?
If the supplies you use a lot of or the key raw material you need in your production is made in China, it might be a good idea to learn how to find a supplier or a manufacturer in China to directly purchase form.
When purchasing directly from a manufacturer, you might be required to purchase a large quantity depending on the product.
How to find suppliers for my products?
Alibaba.com
Create an account for free for your business.
Search your product and filter by suppliers in the search bar.
Filter again by verified suppliers.
Scroll through the list and check some suppliers with more than 3 years of experience on Alibaba and that have main business related to your products and are not trader.
Favorite the suppliers that picked your attention or met your selection criteria.
In Favorites section of your account, you could create folders to group your suppliers into category for easy access later.
They would save in your Alibaba.com account.
Visit the selected suppliers ’website to check them out.
Click on their product category to decide whether they are specialized in your type of products or offer a wide variety of products.
Check their information section on the main page to see whether they are manufacturer or trader. It is great if they are both. If they are a trading company and specialized in the product you are looking for, they could offer you a great quality at a great price.
If they still meet your criterial click on email supplier or contact supplier and send them an email.
Keep a record of your email exchange.
Once you email the suppliers, use the Message section of your Alibaba account to view suppliers’ message and email them back.
Create a folder for each supplier you interact with and save files of your communication.
