I grew kale during summer 2017 and harvested enough to canne for winter.

 

1 Quart Homemade Canned Kale Drained

1 Quart Homemade Canned Chicken

1 tsp Chopped Sage

1 Tbsp. of Fat

Salt to taste

Drain the chicken and store the broth in the fridge for another cooking.

Transfer the drained chicken to a pot.

Add 1 tbsp. of fat.

Add the kale.

Stir it.

Bring to a boil with the liquid in the kale and the chicken.

Cover the pot with a lid and reduce the heat.

Stir occasionally to insure it doesn’t burn.

Cook for about 15 minutes and until the liquid just evaporated.

Taste and salt it if necessary.

Serve on warm rice.
