At the beginning of December we made purchases using a discount that we only have available in December. In the past I have purchased most of my shelf staples in December. This year I didn’t save enough for the shopping. Therefore, I revised my grocery list to stick to $200 budget for Food and non- food items and $95 for meat. We spent so far $179.17 in groceries and $63.64 in irregular Expenses as follow:
Food: $103.77, discount of $29.32

Walmart Purchases: $99.43, saving of $17.56 + discount $11.76 = total discount of $29.32—Amount paid of $89.84

The irregular expense was covered by grocery saving.
Most of our food items were for the holidays and a birthday celebration. We saved a total of $54.16 in groceries purchases and $21.16 in contact solution.
