To be able to link YouTube to your site using card, your website must be associated with your YouTube channel and you must join YouTube partner program. You are eligible to join YouTube partner program if you have at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past 12 months. Even if you have not met the threshold, it is a good idea you have all your You Tube features up to date including associating your blog or website to your YouTube channel.

Associate your website to your YouTube Channel

Go to www.studio.youtube.com

Login in

Click on “setting” in the left side bar down the bottom. A widow should open.

In the left side bar of the widow, click on “channel”

Click on “Advanced Setting” on top in the middle of the window

Scroll down to “Other channel settings”

Click on “Advanced channel setting”

A page named” Advanced” would open

Scroll it down to “Associated website”

Type in your website next to the http: //. For example mine is https://ninasoap.com.

Press the button “Next” or “Verify”.

It would say “Success” when it is accepted.
